Our Recent Aerial Survey: Smedmore House

Posted: 10th August,2021

Smedmore House was constructed in 1610, with bits added to the house as the years went on.

We completed a full roof survey on Smedmore House, looking for deterioration, defects, or any other condition related issues the owners should be aware of. Upon inspection, we found that there was some deterioration to each of the chimney stacks. Using one of our specialist drones, it allowed us to get up close and personal to see exactly how the condition of the stacks was.

We found that on some points across the roof, there was bowing/sagging, which we highlighted on our report.

As we conducted our roof survey, we noted there was a few slates missing on the roof.

Alongside the roof survey on Smedmore House, we also took some videos of the property to put together a marketing video for both Alpine Surveys and Smedmore House
